So I see people saying all the time that Maui is the greatest place on the planet. What is the difference between Maui and the North Shore of Oahu, for example? I understand the dislike for Honolulu with the massive crowds, but what about the North Shore? I imagine the weather to be the same. I would think they have the same vibe. I just don't get why the love for Maui and the hate for Oahu.
I can see the differences with Kaui. Not very crowded, very green and lush. Crazy beautiful. And I can see the attraction of the Big Island. Volvanoes, bigger, more remote areas on the island. Black sand beaches.
I am just curious about this. Not hating on anyone.
