Dennis Lindsey has shown us that he loves tinkering with the last 2 or 3 roster spots. It's clear that Snyder isn't a huge fan of Evans' game, otherwise he'd be getting regular minutes, and not as an injury replacement. If they don't like the guy's game, and they like having the flexibility of keeping those 2 or 3 roster spots open for d-league callups and trade scenarios, I see no reason why they would re-sign Evans.
