lord of the rings movies. I think its because I like the actor that plays bilbo more than I like the actor that plays frodo. What amazing cinematography in these hobbit movies! The dwarves going down the river in the barrels and fighting orcs in the desolation of smaug...if you are a man and you dont think watching that scene is entertaining...i would check again whether or not you are really a man.

My only beef is that I have a hard time paying attention for three hours. My secret to enjoying them is to watch first half on a sunday morning and the second half on a sunday night. Thats a spiritual day. I feel like they could have made the movies shorter and that I would like them better. But its somewhat grueling to watch for that long. But I think thats a me problem. I love the first two hobbit movies. I'm going to watch the third one soon. I might get back around to watching the lord of the rings trilogy to compare.
