I travel a lot domestically but am just now taking a trip to Europe (hopefully not the first). And while I will personally use the Hangouts dialer over wifi exclusively on my own phone (just foregoing data/texting/calling outside of that) on my own phone, my wife is going to want to use a small international plan to text. But here is the strange thing. AT&T says they charge per minute for the voicemails people leave which are expensive even with the international plan. So how could you only turn on texting but not calling?
