Savannah or Florida Panhandle???

We are going to be visiting the in-laws in Georgia in June and we want to have a weekend getaway while we are there. Would you recommend Savannah or the Florida Panhandle or another spot, and why? We haven't been to any coastal spot in that area. Thanks!

I once made the mistake of going to St Augustine FL over Savannah.

Go to the panhandle of FL for the beaches or gulf coast
