True, but before the last 3 years, perhaps the only more futile franchise in
the entire NBA since the 80's has been Golden State. Yet the fans have always been there.
I used to work for them in the arena and at their pro shop while in high school. Fans were always around, always buying up gear, and talking about what the team needed to do to improve. For decades.
