They were having a great time though. I'm glad BYU did something nice for them today. I was surprised at how many of them limp, hobble and gimp about...I felt badly. It's definitely a rough sport for tough players.
I know the basics, but the fine nuances of the game still elude me. I don't know enough to argue with a ref's call...but I'm getting close to understanding it.
I was impressed with CWU's speed on the edge...or maybe it was BYU's gaps in coverage. In either case, the only times they moved the ball much was on the edges with quick passes (as you mentioned).
I was surprised to see some NFLer's there...including Haloti Ngata. It was nice to see Larry Gelwix there as well.
I'm a newbie at the sport, but I fell in love with it a year or so ago...tons of fun. More people should discover it as a sport. BYU does very, very well at it.
