We aren't going to put up 82 pts/game without Haws, Winder and Halford, period. The focus then will need to be, of necessity, on playing better defense. Bartley was better than 95% of the guys on our roster next year in this regard. He had some lateral quickness, hops and physicality and was thus tasked with guarding the 1-4 positions last year at one time or another.

Good luck defending the 4 next year when Kaufusi sits with foul trouble and Davis is moved over to the 5. That's what Bartley and Winder (even Halford) had to do on a regular basis last year. Actually, it's going to be WORSE than last year because we don't even have Sharp's or Worthington's bodies to throw into the mix to try to match up there. (Stacy Davis goin' crazy on us yet again anyone?) And don't count on Aytes or Austin riding to the rescue. They are by no means sure things for next year from their latest rehab reports.
