I worked with the brother of a very good Utah point guard who played under
Majerus. He left the program and came back after Majerus left. You probably can guess who I'm speaking of...he played with Bogut.
Anyway, he told me that Britton Johnsen told his brother not to play for the U, but to go to BYU. Certainly, there was a downfall with Majerus at the end, but it sounds to me like Britton was not opposed to BYU.
