Did the green borscht have potatoes in it. I've got a pot of my experiment on the stove right now, with pork and dill pickle juice in it and is getting close.
No way I'm getting kvas today or even this week. I guess it's more of Solyanka at this point, but I have enough sorrel in the back yard I could change directions.
