I wouldn't expect a huge jump in the defense because Bronco is in charge, especially if there is still in team bickering and lack of film work. Who is the player leader on defense? There is still a lack of experience and depth at key positions. Any injuries or suspensions and it could be a rough start, and byu will probably have both. Also I think Boise has a good idea of how to break down byu's defense as they have outperformed other teams who play byu. Even in 2013 when byu beat them their offense put up a lot of yards and it was turnovers that did them in. Also as another posted said they are projected to be outstanding on defense this year. Other than ucla, they probably will be the best defense on our schedule.
