I'm not getting a Suburban as that is almost a death sentence in terms of guaranteeing a calling. Also not including a Subaru, not that there's anything wrong with them, just not my style.

Need something I can take camping around the West. Needs to be good on road and off. DO NOT want a 3rd row. Will also be a daily driver so it does need some comfort, thus no 4 door JK JEEP. Done the no comfort thing. I'm ready for something nicer.

Not planning on towing a trailer or extreme rock crawling but will be taking it to secluded and remote spots.

Anyway, leaning towards the 4Runner/FJ platform with the Grand Cherokee a very close second. The GC is almost too nice for camping but is a clear winner for the daily commute.

Long winded but I know some of you drive these vehicles. Anything you love or hate about them?
