having a quality receiver on the other side of the field would have opened up seams for Hoffman that weren't there as he played, so he would have had more opportunities. we still threw to other WRs plenty, but few that really garnered any respect from the opposing defense, so those other throws would have just gone to Leslie instead of the paint-by-numbers WRs we actually fielded.
