after reading portions of that book......if I'm a 17 or 18 year old kid who was not raised in a really, really religious home I'd have a extremely hard time considering BYU when all these other options exist where I can get money, girls, booze and more easily slip through academically.

i think it will be harder and harder to attract non-LDS recruits over the coming years and even tougher to recruit LDS kids who are not really staunchly LDS. (which to their credit Utah has done a great job of attracting. And yes, this I have very, very good sources on as some here on the board know)
