Is anyone familiar with SG helmets? The company was started by a motor sports helmet guy who was inspired after going to the Colts game where Collie got one of his (many) concussions.

I was researching helmets for my son and came across SG, and thought they looked super strange, mostly because the inside of the helmet looks like styrofoam but the outside is has kevlar and carbon fiber.

I did a little more reading about them and found about the Collie connection and thought it was pretty interesting. They are obviously significantly lighter than other helmets, but I wonder about the fit as you have to special order them online.

Has anyone tried these helmets? Thoughts? (They did get 5 stars in the VT helmet ratings)
