Seems like the tickets and merchandise they would sell would make up for any "headache" of fans chanting to put Jimmer in during a blowout. The upside is that he could turn out to be a productive and electric member of the team. He could be a bench player that brings energy to the team and to the arena. That's very valuable. He can score and if he hits a couple Jimmer-esque shots the house will come down.
And I think the biggest reason for Kanter leaving was the emergence of The Stifle Tower. If Rudy was a bust, Kanter would still be at Utah, IMHO.
