So my wife got a package in the mail full of stuff that we did not order
the box was full of purses, sweaters, barbies, (all brand new). They were sent to her, as in her name is on the label, so we know it wasn't a delivery mistake. We called people we know to see if they sent it to her as a gift, but nobody did. It really is a box full of crap (new crap, but random crap at that)

FedEx just dropped it off on the door so we weren't able to refuse the package. Not sure what to do at this point. Can I take it to FedEx? Will they send it back to the sender? Will I have to pay for sending it back? Should I send it back or just throw the stuff away?

I'm afraid that it is part of some scam or something and if we send it back the company may say "oh, well the box was opened and xzy was damaged or missing so you owe us the balance."

Part of me wants to file a police report just in case it is a scam or something... I'm not sure what to do, it's just super random.
