They say to deeply water your lawn until an 8 inch screw driver will be completely wet when submerged into the ground. 2-3 times a week.... That doesn't really work so just water daily, very early in the morning for 10-13 min. Sometimes I'll skip a day if it has been raining or if u notice it getting too wet.

Get some Vigoro summer care weed and feed lawn fertilizer from Home Depot and follow instructions. You will need the weed killer that is in it to control the spurge weed that usually shows up in the summer.
