According to BYU it is more exposure, playing better competition, playing in
front of more fans, and setting BYU up better to be invited to a P5.

If USU goes to a NY6, good for them. But also, so what? I personally agree with the BYU admin. Who cares about possibly having an easy path to the NY6 consolation prize if it means trading all those other things? Last year, Boise St was rewarded with playing Arizona in the Fiesta Bowl. Being independent we are playing Arizona three times in the regular season plus plenty of other much more exciting games every season. Is it worth trading 5-6 (and possibly more) big games a season, for 1-2 big games a season while also being stuck in Laramie and New Mexico every year?
