FWIW I think BYU is in a tough spot but is improving their program
They are on the outside looking in on the P5. But through independence they are doing more than any other non P5 to improve the program.
1. Scheduling is improving
2. Money is better than MWC and will get much better with next TV deal. Hopefully this will lead to better coaches, trainers etc.
3. Exposure is way better
None of the other non P5 even have the ability to change their lot like BYU is doing. Draft picks will improve if the program keeps improving.
