RE: If you hate Bronco and could fire him, who is his realistic replacement?
Options are:

1) Keep Bronco, get the same of the same. 7-5 to 9-3 years, generally beating bad teams and losing to most decent teams. No real upside and no major downside, while gradually becoming more irrelevant.

2) Fire Bronco and promote someone internally, such as Anae. Not sure if a major difference will happen in the outcome.

3) Hire an up and comer, take a risk hiring a Sitake like candidate. Perhaps he is the next legendary BYU coach, or perhaps he is fired after 5 years.

4) Go after Whittingham. Nothing new on the contract, they just rolled his contract a bit and the buyout (from what I recall) is about the same. From close Ute fans, Hill wants him gone as Hill wants it all about him. Happy to discuss offline, but Whitt was very very very close to being gone after last year. Hill just needs any excuse to ax him.

5) Hire Andy Reid.......joking of course.

My view is unless BM has a spectacular year you get rid of him and hope Sitake or someone like him has had a great year and is ready to take the reigns. I do not think you want to continually lose nearly all major LDS recruits that have sincere interest from big time programs. The buzz around BYU football is depleting by the day and this is moving to other programs we compete against, fair or not fans attend based on hope and expectations for a brighter future......BM does not give that the fans. I hope BM succeeds and BYU has a great year, I just see the same old thing.

We will lose to the top teams on the schedule, beat a solid name that is down and that BM will hang his hat on, lose to a team we shouldn't and beat the majority of the bad teams. We will end 8-5 and be in the same situations with same excuses with some fans mentioning "we would have won but" or "we really won but"........
