Last year CBS network showed the championship, but it was tough to slot in. It would have had to be either really early in the West (before the SEC game) or too late for the network to show if it was played after.

Anyway, CBS had a multi-year deal and was paying about $1 mil, but since they've probably declined, the MW can bid that game out and look for a new home.

The problem is there isn't that much room. The American adds a championship game this year. Maybe they bid it out to ESPN or FS1. Would they take the same cash from CBS SN or want a raise?
