FTR, the poster of the linked thread wasn't getting upset over legacy kids. All I said was "they should never be somewhere other than BYU if BYU wants them". Meaning, if BYU identifies a legacy kid they want to sign they should pull out all the stops to land them. Not saying they are or aren't doing that currently (though rumors often float around the interweb about those that don't). BYU should do that with all the kids they really want, but ESPECIALLY for legacy kids.
