Don't think you are looking at things in the right way:
Yes, 11 for Crowton, but the 5 that were drafted in 2002 were Lavell's recruits that only played for Crowton one year. In fact, most of the 11 drafted during the Crowton years were recruited by Edwards.

Similarly, you can say that Beck, Kehl, Collie, and Pitta were Crowton's recruits that were developed under Bronco's system.

Also, one thing people don't realize is the big drafting 'famine' from 2011-13 should have been filled by recruits from 2005-2007: which is when BYU was recovering from the losing seasons from the Crowton years. I'm sure this had a negative impact on Bronco's draft stats.

Don't get me wrong, I wish that Bronco put more emphasis on recruiting more NFL caliber players and on developing them better. But the numbers are not as skewed as some people make them out to be.
