They played during Jordans career when jordan was plenty good. The difference between them and Stockton was their ability to score and take over a game. Even Gary payton has rings and he overlapped with jordan many years. If the Jazz were so great where were they when Jordan was gone? The rockets won some titles in there. Why couldn't they beat them? Why couldn't they beat the Spurs the next year or the lakers the next year?... You can say the Jazz peaked at the wrong time but they had other chances to peak with the same core guys... They probably would have lost to someone else if it wasn't jordan... They showed that before and inbetween and after jordan. No excuses.
