The person that sold us the permits told us that nobody was going up that day and recommended that we not either. Of course we were stupid missionaries so we ignored that advice. Visibility was so bad that on the way back down we lost track of the pillars that would have taken us down the right ridge. After hiking around for the next 7 hours we found ourselves on a highway that was about 20 miles from where we'd parked our car. Fun p-day.
