If his options were change positions or transfer, I don't blame him
He was a true freshman QB who had been enrolled in school for two months. 5th string should have been no problem at that point.
If the coaches told him he could switch positions and see the field this season or stay at QB and try to work his way up the depth chart, and he chose to transfer instead, that's a huge red flag, IMO.
