Here's my take: I like the crop of QBs we have right now, and, honestly, a lot of these star QBs in Utah appear to be fool's gold: they tear it up against incredibly poor secondaries and unathletic defenses, and then struggle with the position at the next level. I think there were some signs shown by both Bateman (who is now apparently playing WR at Bama) and now Kafenztis.
I hope the kid does well wherever he goes, but I agree with most that he seems like a better fit at Nevada where he could be a Cody Fajardo 2.0 -- something most D1 guys would dream of doing. All that said, I wouldn't lose sleep over this kid not ending up at BYU.
