Among many, many other things, something that stands out about MJ and LBJ is
that in a league where winning has often been tied very closely to having very good big men, Jordan and James were able to cement themselves as possibly the two best individual talents ever AND had great team success even though neither ever played with a dominant big man. Throw in neither of them ever playing with a great PG either and it gets even more remarkable. Throughout history you just can't do that as a SG/SF unless you are Jordan and LeBron.
