I have never been a Kobe fan. Sure he is a great player and the run he had with Shaq were some fun years but as an individual player I have never liked him. He has always believed his own hype and I watched SO many games where he literally lost games for the team because of his selfish play. I couldn't stand listening to Stu (Lakers' announcer) just kiss Kobe's backside every single night. I look forward to the post-Kobe era although I have no faith that Buss' son will ever get the Lakers back to the top. He's a total bonehead. The Showtime Lakers will always be my favorite era.
