The fastest lane is the right lane, and gradually slows down as you move left. Everybody and their dog believes they belong in the left lane. I especially hate the people that get on the freeway, make a beeline to the left lane, then camp out at 70 mph.
I've seen this happen from 123rd S to 53rd south, without exception.
