BYUTV and independence is about exposure, why don't you televise the Spring
game?
It not only should be a larger revenue stream by having one, but many around the world can not come to the game and thus BYU 's exposure could be increased by holding the game and televising it on BYUTV. It is also a HUGE recruiting tool for BYU to be seen by HS players. Such events help build little fans from young ages from far away into older ones in the future. Why not televise the game with all of the postives that come from doing so? BYUTC can bee seen in the pacific islands right? Imagine the following BYU can create there as BYU tries to continue to recruit there, by being one of a few teams they can watch play a spring game and see players from their islands playing.
