No doubt that Wade is now a shadow of his former
self. He had some pretty good years with Lebron though.

I think Jordan would have easily made the finals that year. Look at who they played.

In the first round they played a 41-41 team with their star player (Gilbert Arenas). That team would have probably won 33 games without him in the regular season.

In the second round they played a New Jersey Nets team that finished.... 41-41. Their best big man was either Mikki Moore or Boston Nachbar. Drew Gooden and Zyldraunus Ilgauskas (not to mention Varejao) were by far better players than their counterparts.

So who did they play in the conference finals? The Detroit Pistons. The Pistons won 53 games that year (for perspective, they would have been the #6 seed in the West this year) and the first year the team didn't have Ben Wallace (they were never the same after he left). It certainly took a great effort from Booby Gibson (50% from 3 for the series), but Lebron had a very good series despite only shooting 44% from the field. Still his average for that series was 8 ppg less than Jordan's career playoff average and 5% less shooting than Jordan's career average. Lebron did average both 2 apg and 2 rbg more than Jordan's career average (although Jordan had series with those types of numbers as well).

While it is impossible to know if Jordan with that team would have beaten the Pistons (I think any logical person would infer that he would beat the first two foes) I think the evidence backs up that he would have. Lebron's team was then swept in the finals.
