...He's just never shown much progression as a RB and hasn't had the instincts or feel for the position. He's a good enough athlete but I remember reading a number of posts on CB back when he first got back from his mission that said coaches should move him to safety and in hindsight I really wish they had.

He's done a nice job as a KR but he could've still done that from the safety position and I think he would've had a bigger impact on the field playing defense.

I've felt the same way about Paul Lasike. I wish coaches had started him out at ILB and just been patient with him so he could learn the position. As a FB/RB he was able to get on the field quicker and make some contributions but I think had coaches been patient he could've been an amazing ILB, a guy who's hitting ability truly put fear in the minds of opposing receivers and ballcarriers.
