1. The dog days of summer don't exist for me. Just like how I'll watch every BYU Football/Basketball game, regardless of record/opponent/postseason ramifications, the same is true for every Dodgers game. Those are my teams, and you never know what could happen in a given game!
If you don't have a specific team to root for, then I can understand being burnt out on baseball in general by mid summer.
2. I know what point you want to make about the change in starters, but really in the LCS and WS most teams still use 4 guys.
Even the great duo of Randy Johnson/Curt Schilling of 2001 had to take the Yankees to 7 games and a majority of those were decided by the bullpens.
Heck last year was a record setting post season for Mad Bum, but the series still went to 7 and came down to the final out. Anything can happen in October, good or bad (Kershaw)
