Lebron makes the players around him better, the difference is that he
is a guy that dominates the ball. Could he play another role? Probably, but he doesn't. If I am the coach of the Heat I wouldn't have him play another role either as I would prefer him bringing the ball up and dominating the ball to a guy like Dwyane Wade.

The point was more along the lines of talent. It is well documented that Bosh and Wade took lesser roles to play with Lebron. Their touches and usage went down for the betterment of the team.

Jordan's teammates did not do this. Largely because they weren't good enough on other teams to need to take a reduced role on the Bulls. Even Scottie Pippen's role and usage barely changed in the prime of his career when Jordan left the game.
