The one positive that comes out of this IMO is that people gain an appreciation
for what this type of court case is like, and think about ways to improve the system.

On one side you have prosecutors who are overmatched & underpaid, and bear the burden of establishing a foolproof narrative when criminals are now sophisticated enough to not give them much to work with. On the other side you have smooth, high-priced defense attorneys. At some point juries tune out the rhetoric, and everything comes down to who has the more believable witness.
