A very nice, athletic attempt to beat the tag came up short when Aybar got the tag on the guy's chest before the runner's far arm got to the bag. Announcers spent the next 5 minutes showing the Trout replay from a couple of weeks ago, and then talking about how some guys are just better at everything than everyone else. John Kruk was the color commentator and said that Trout was probably the best ping-pong player in his elementary school class too.

My 6-year old couldn't get enough of watching Trout's slide, and my wife was pretty impressed too.
