What about Texas Tech? They're the closest to BYU at 870 miles.
I'd guess that if the B12 went to 12 with BYU and Cincinnati with an East/West split then the divisions could include BYU, Texas Tech, and the Kansas/Oklahoma schools. Eastern division would be WVU, Cincinnati, Iowa State, and the 3 eastern Texas schools (Texas, Baylor, and TCU).
