jump the gun to sway Big12 officials to add eastern teams before they add other teams (i.e. BYU) to the conference. i do not believe for one minute the Big12 is not going to expand. it is more a question of "when" than "if". WVU is at an obvious disadvantage and dreads traveling further than they already have to. they see the writing on the wall RE expansion and want to make sure the Big12 feels pressure to go east, because that is what benefits WVU. everyone acts in a self-interested manner. which is why you see AD's and presidents and commissioners say one thing and then, a few days later, do the exact opposite.

i think bronco was right...when B1G tv deal gets renegotiated in 2017-2018 the craziness is going to start all over again. i could even see a scenario where other Big12 teams want to go west and they piss of WVU enough that they jump to B1G for way more money, or ACC to pair with natural rivals and lower costs. i really don't think the Big12 will expand unless they can get another P5 team (i.e. FSU, Clemson, arkansas, etc) i hope there's a chair for BYU somewhere when the music stops playing and that they are smart enough to sit in it when it comes along.
