Not at all...it's really the opposite. Our bigs last year couldn't shoot outside or finish down low, so the D could sag and clog everything. Can you imagine driving to the hole and having the possibility of throwing a lob pass? If our bigs are good, then their bigs will think twice before leaving them. If Kyle can't finish over their bigs, we can hopefully do what most weak side bigs do - actually clean the glass and have a few throwback dunks. Oh wait, we're talking our bigs.
How many times did the other teams' bigs hedge on a screen for Tyler or even double team Tyler until the G had recovered? Do you think they were worried about our bigs slipping through to throw it down or popping out and hitting an open j?
Spacing is more relative to how the other guards hit the outside jumper.
