West:
BYU
Kansas
Kansas State
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
Texas Tech

East:
Baylor
Cincinnati
Iowa State
Texas
TCU
West Virginia

You wind up with Texas/TCU/Baylor in 1 division and Oklahoma/Oklahoma State/Kansas State in the other division. It still makes sense geographically.
