Duke and Northwestern's admission standards for athletes are
approx 3.0 GPA, 21 ACT. BYU's are about the same (a tiny bit lower ACT). For the average student applying for BYU (3.8 GPA and 29 on the ACT) this may not seem like a big deal, but for athletes, especially top athletes, it is. Especially when you compare our admission standards to other in-state and regional rival schools.
