in UNC's married housing. This was 2008-2009 (his senior season when they won the NC). Whenever he did, if there were kids out he'd play ball with them for a few minutes. Though he'd been the NCAA POY the previous season and would end up as arguably the most decorated men's college basketball player ever, it was cool to see him take the time to do that.

Plenty of people didn't like him or his game or the fact that he was from UNC. Fair enough. He was a fantastic person, though.
