He's had seasons where he was outscored in other quarters, and seasons where other quarters were better for him than the 3rd, but he's also had seasons where the 3rd was his best quarter.

But again, he's never had a season where he was outscored in the 3rd. Doesn't exactly sound like a coach that doesn't make halftime adjustments. But by all means, let that myth continue.


On your other points, I see no reason for Bronco's trademarked misuse of TO's to end this season, though I don't expect a repeat of icing the PAT'er. There will most likely be some other dumb use of TO's though. Like calling one on 4th down after pretending to go for it (and not even a good pretend) from the opponent's 35. You know, cause punting from the 40 instead of the 35 would be a hole we can't climb out of.
