I know these are a bit specialized if you don't canonyeer much
but if you find these on sale, buy them because they really do work well for any type of water adventure where grip and support are paramount.

Your trip looks awesome! You should now think about exploring Robbers Roost or the San Rafael Swell (i like these two areas and others because they are free, unlike Zion). Lots of fun day trips to scratch the canyoneering itch.
