I'm not sure (at all) that I want BYU in the Big12 even if offered.
First, I'm not sure how stable the Big 12 is. Second, I'm not at all sure that it is better than BYU staying Independent. If you win, the need for a conference decreases!
I am just not sure I would trade current TV access (and money) and the current playing schedule for Big 12 membership. Just win, and it all works out well.
Then again, I'd far rather be an owner than a mere employee, even though being an employee is far "safer" and much easier.
