sure some of his stuff is educated speculation, but he doesn't have inside sources or information. He just takes a common sense approach to what he sees happening and puts his spin on it. I don't think anyone can argue that the B12 is the weakest and most unstable conference currently of the P5. Boren's comments recently speak directly to that fact. He is worried about the stability of the conference and wants it shored up so it can strengthen itself moving forward.

Looking at Boren's comments and putting two and two together you know he is worried about the stability of the Big 12 moving forward and if the conference is not going to make a move to help solidify itself and then building on a solid foundation Oklahoma is going to go look for a better situation. If that happens then Cowherd's speculation about the Big 12 dissolving is not that far fetched....it makes sense and has made sense for the past several years.
