I never had the discipline to do it back when I was carrying lots of revolving
debt, but every time I laid it out on paper it sure looked good.
After the first year or so all your debt was gone but the mortgage and you had a cool $900/month of extra principal to pay towards your mortgage all on the same monthly budget you had before.
