It was interesting too, as I've seen them in NYC and in Seattle. The Seattle crowd took it pretty low key, mostly bobbing and occasionally jumping to the music. The NYC crowd went full mosh pit. Both shows were incredible and their musicianship and energy were great.
Runner- up: Les Savy Fav. I watched them at concert in Seattle where several city blocks were shut down for a series of performers over several days. Les Savy Fav was a complete riot. The four backup members of the band just stood there jamming and doing their thing, but the lead singer spent the whole night stage diving, running through the audience, and at one point went to a neighboring building where people were watching, climbed the stairs and performed a song from their balcony, then proceeded to steal a house plant which he smashed on stage for the next song.
